Chief James A. Walters (Ret)

Chief Walters began his career as a member of the Greenwich Police Department in 1981 working his way up through the ranks to become Chief of Police in Nov. 2002 and retiring to a job in the private sector in 2007.

Chief Walters is currently employed as Vice President, Compliance, Facilities & Security for The Fairway Group based in New York, NY.

Chief Walters began his affiliation with Arch Street while supervising the Youth Division at GPD. He has been an avid supporter of Arch Street and a member of the Board since 2003.

Chief Walters holds an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice Administration, a Bachelors Degree in Organizational Management and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy.
